We Have 545 People Responsible For Legal Plunder!

QUESTIONS : Have you ever wondered why, when asked both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

Here is how I see it : We have 100 senators, 435 congressmen, 1 president and 9 Supreme Court justices - that’s 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. The government itself runs a fraud much bigger than Madoff’s

1.  I want every American to be aware of Speaker Pelosi’s I don’t give a shit attitude toward the 23 million, less-educated working-age Americans who do not currently have a job,” Beck said.   “This group of Americans without any college education and without a job increased by 2 million between 2000 and 2005 at the same time Congress was importing 1.5 million foreign workers of the same education level, according to research by the Center for Immigration Studies.

2. Simply stated, the Constitution empowers Congress to raise taxes and spend money. The president can agree or disagree with congressional decisions regarding taxing and spending, but he has no authority under the Constitution to spend any money unless Congress authorizes him to do so.

IMO; All of our elected officials should be worried, not just the Senate leader Harry Dirt Bag Reid. Most all of them should be replaced, (yes, there are a few good ones, very few). There should be no second chance for them. Most are career politicians and are NOT servants of the people.

Many of our elected officials, from both parties, have used BS-tactics to rush through legislation that is Not-Constitutional.( Legal Plunder) Most have used the now infamous “crisis” to to rush through “unread” legislation even while they have accused their opponents as having done the same. BS? That’s insane.

What’s really insane, is that WE continue to vote these dirt bags into office. We, as voters need to wake up and smell the crap that WE have elected to office.

The Nature Of Legal Plunder

"As Bastiat pointed out over a hundred years ago, once government steps over this clear line between the protective or negative role into the aggressive role of redistributing the wealth and providing so-called “benefits” for some of its citizens, it then becomes a means for what he accurately described as legalized plunder. It becomes a lever of unlimited power which is the sought-after prize of unscrupulous individuals and pressure groups, each seeking to control the machine to fatten his own pockets or to benefit its favorite charities - all with the other fellow’s money, of course. (THE LAW, 1850, reprinted by the Foundation for Economic Education, Irvington-On-Hudson, N.Y.)

Listen to Bastiat’s explanation of this “legal plunder.” “When a portion of wealth is tranferred from the person who owns it - without his consent and without compensation, and whether by force or by fraud - to anyone who does not own it, then I say that property is violated; that an act of plunder is committed!

“How is the legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime…” (THE LAW, p. 21, 26; P.P.N.S., p. 377)

As Bastiat observed, and as history has proven, each class or special interest group competes with the others to throw the lever of governmental power in their favor, or at least to immunize itself against the effects of a previous thrust. Labor gets a minimum wage, so agriculture seeks a price support. Consumers demand price controls, and industry gets protective tariffs. In the end, no one is much further ahead, and everyone sufffers the burdens of a gigantic bureaucracy and a loss of personal freedom. With each group out to get its share of the spoils, such governments historically have mushroomed into total welfare states. Once the process begins, once the principle of the protective function of government gives way to the aggressive or redistribute function, then forces are set in motion that drive the nation toward totalitarianism. “It is impossible,” Bastiat correctly observed, “to introduce into society… a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.” (THE LAW, p. 12)"

We have before us currently a sad example of what happens to a nation which ignores these principles. Former FBI agent, Dan Smoot, succinctly pointed this out on his broadcast number 649, dated January 29, 1968, as follows:

“England was killed by an idea: the idea that the weak, indolent and profligate must be supported by the strong, industrious, and frugal - to the degree that tax-consumers will have a living standard comparable to that of taxpayers; the idea that government exists for the purpose of plundering those who work to give the product of their labor to those who do not work. The economic and social cannibalism produced by this communist-socialist idea will destroy any society which adopts it and clings to it as a basic principle - ANY society.”

I expect new, unrelated legislation to be proposed that further damages freedom in the name of protecting us, amidst loud proclamations that they have made the world safe. I see no reason to believe that any new law, or regulatory agency will solve anything.  But I do see liberty slipping away every time Congress decides to “do something”

You cannot help the poor, by destroying the rich.

You cannot strengthen the weak, by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity, by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage earner up, by pulling the wage payer down.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man, by inciting class hatred.

You cannot build character and courage, by taking away men’s initiative and independence.

You cannot help men permanently, by doing for them what they could and should, do for themselves.

Do you recognize the author? It was Abraham Lincoln.

REPLACE THE DIRT BAGS ALL 545 OF THEM.

Who IN THE CAT HAIR IS THE speaker of the House? That bitch is the leader of the majority party. She and her fellow Democrats, NOT the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they still have the power to over ride and can pass it.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 dirt bags who stand convicted — by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility. and all should be convicted of dereliction of duty as defined by their oath of office, and in some cases outright treason. My Lord America; Ray Charles can see that!

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by WE THE PEOPLE who are their bosses - provided WE THE PEOPLE have the balls to manage their own employees.

I also find it amazing that the swing voters were “wooed” (bribed, perhaps?) by Obama or Harry dirt bag Reid into voting those last few winning votes FOR the healthcare package. This seem a bit of an unconstitutional collusion of power between the Executive and the Legislative branches. Checks and balances went out the window when the dictators took over.

I think the one thing that we are all overlooking, or refusing to see, is that those of us who TRULY believe in limited government, the Constitution and our founding principles, are in the minority. Unfortunately, most people are socialist/communist by nature. Last November, the majority of the voters voted for Obama, and the rest voted for McCain. The same will happen in 2012. Maybe Obama will be re-elected, or the people will elect a big-government republican. We lose either way as we did in 2008, 2004, 2000, 1996, etc. Remember that no president or congress will be responsible for the fall of America. The majority of the people will. Joseph Marie De Maistre said, “Every country has the government it deserves”.

IMO: we face a crisis situation in our beloved Republic. There is first of all a spiritual crisis among our people. In our quest for material things, we have forgotten God. There is a crisis for competent, honest, and moral leadership in government at all levels. There is an economic and political crisis, where our basic freedoms stand in jeopardy because of a departure from fundamental principles. We must return to these basic principles if our free Republic is to survive

QUESTION: What are we going to do about it?
