Maybe Americans Should Start Going To Their Veterinarians

With the way things are going in Washington and Obama and Pelosi’s Healthcare Bill, we Americans may have to start going to our pet’s vet for treatment. It is after all quicker, cheaper, and the patient receives whatever it takes to save its life. I thought about that yesterday while listening to politicians in both parties discussing the new socialist healthcare Obama is enforcing upon our bodies.
On May 28, 2009, my four and a half year-old Rottweiler named Cody suddenly collapsed on his bed into a semi-coma. My father, brother, me, and a wonderful and caring neighbor, all drove Cody to the hospital.
I’m just now remembering the details. I was numb with shock over finding my dog in that state, not to mention crying and praying something could be done to save a healthy dog that, without any warning, collapsed.
As the three men worked to get the 140 pound dog out of the pick-up, I went inside the hospital to take care of paperwork. Yesterday I recalled certain specifics: “Lisa, we need you to fill out Cody’s history, your consent for tests and surgery if necessary, and check off whether you want to pay with cash, check or a credit card. For the tests it will probably be expensive: about $1,200 dollars and more if we operate.” I answered with “Do whatever it takes, just save my dog.” “Don’t worry. As soon as Cody’s placed on the gurney he’ll be rushed into ER.”
Sadly my dog could not be saved. He went into cardiac arrest and died. The immediate and thorough attention given him was amazing.
What if my dog was a human being and this was Europe; would he have waited months, maybe a year, for tests and surgery? Yes. Europe is socialized; nanny-stated, people with advanced diseases are not considered worth saving. Europe tells humans what they can and can’t do for their bodies.
Canadians needing treatment wait months, even a year. Animals however are immediately ministered to. One need not worry about insurance to save animals; just hand over the credit card and into ER and OR goes the pet. Not to mention it costs far less to treat animals who are cared for better than people. It is so expensive to cure humans, many ignore their health. It’s cheaper to die.
This is what Americans are facing with Obama: humans being treated as less than animals.
Pelosi guarantees the new Healthcare Bill insures all Americans. That is not true. Only low-income welfare Americans will receive medical insurance hard-working taxpayers will beg for. Illegal aliens will receive the best medicinal therapy taxpayer’s money can buy.
Patrick J. Buchanan writes in his July 17, 2009 Human Events column “Socialist America Sinking:” “…national health insurance from Nancy Pelosi’s House [has] A surtax that runs to 5.4 percent of all earnings of the top 1 percent of Americans, who already pay 40 percent of all federal income taxes…Other ideas on the table include taxing the health benefits that businesses provide their employees.” That is if businesses continue existing in America.
The bill contains provisions for abortions. Those needing surgery must wait, and die, depending on how long Pelosi feels delays should be. However, if a woman wants an abortion, Obama’s bill provides immediate murdering of the planet-crowding unborn.
Obama is further taking over private healthcare FDR absconded with in 1933. If Americans are allowed to abort unborn children at will, why can’t Americans decide which doctor and treatment they want for illnesses? Because socialism’s goal is to control the planet’s population; making more room for animals.
19 congressmen, some Blue Dog Democrats, oppose the new healthcare bill because it provides abortion. In a letter to Obama, the 19 congressmen stated: “We believe in a culture that supports and respects the right to life and is dedicated to the protection and preservation of families. Therefore, we cannot support any health care reform proposal unless it explicitly excludes abortion from the scope of any government-defined or subsidized health insurance plan…”
New Jersey Representative Chris Smith angrily stated that Obama’s bill is “…exceedingly expensive, complex and potentially ruinous health care restructuring plan without the benefit of comprehensive hearings on and through vetting of the actual bill text. Obamacare is the greatest threat ever to the lives and wellness of unborn children and their mothers since Roe v. Wade was rendered in 1973…the ugly truth is that his so-called health care reform bill, if enacted, will lead to millions of additional dead children and wounded mothers.”
If Americas do not meet the requirement for Obamacare they will be fined 2%. Employers will be forced to purchase company health plans that fund abortions or be fined 8%. Therefore, Americans working for companies with enforced Obamacare insurance, must, under law, purchase abortion provided insurance.
It will become moral to not work.

Americans are losing rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which includes doctors and treatment. Americans have been complacent for so long, Obama conned his way into the White House with the majority of Catholic votes and a large portion of Evangelical votes. Pro-life Christians helped elect Obama. The very people who believe in life are now responsible for taking it.
Those complacent Christians continue wondering obsessively if Obama is the anti-Christ instead of paying attention to his policies they could stop by demanding NO votes from district leaders. Obama’s too stupid to be Satan. Satan would have chosen a church to con by now. Obama however is slick enough to make Christians believe if one professes Jesus is Lord to Rick Warren, one is the Messiah.
If that were true, Ted Kennedy would have driven his car on water versus sinking it.
