IS IT STIMULUS OR COLLECTIVUS?

When Barry Obama is not speaking to the press about the need to pass economic stimulus packages, he’s writing scare-you-to-death op-eds for the liberal New York Post (Thursday, February 5, 2009; Page A17), informing Americans “we have inherited an economic crisis as deep and dire as any since the days of the Great Depression.” Not unless you actually cause a depression as FDR did. Prior to FDR, America had economic problems it could fix 9markets actually fix themselves without help). The 1929 Market crash did not cause a depression or unemployment, FRD did in order to create big government bureaucracy.
FDR’s big government creation collapsed the U.S. Now Barry Obama is attempting to cause the same disaster by making Americans believe if stimulus packages are not enacted Americans will starve, lose homes, children will not be educated, welfare leeches will not live high-on-the-hog-free, and CEO’s will be jumping out of golden parachutes onto the Vegas strip with stolen money.
In his latest attempt to frighten Americans into accepting huge, crushing taxes that will allegedly bring about “action that’s swift, bold and wise enough for us to climb out of this crisis,” Obama has decided to cap corporate CEO’s salaries. At first that sounds good: place caps on how much CEO’s make for a few years so companies can catch up. After all, they can collect profits in their stock investments. Or can they? And can you, the American worker, continue raising your pay and collecting stock investments without Obama eventually capping your salary? That is what Americans need to ask themselves: if Obama intends on capping one group’s salaries as punishment for wealth, what is to stop him from preventing American workers from attaining wealth? Nothing if his bills are passed.
Obama’s post op-ed claims “each day we wait to begin the work of turning our economy around, more people lose their jobs, their savings and their homes. And if nothing is done, this recession might linger for years. Our economy will lose 5 million more jobs. Unemployment will approach double digits. Our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse.” Why not just send each American a razor blade and rope?
Barry claims his plan “provide[s] immediate tax relief to 95 percent of American workers…” That means the five percent who pay the majority of all taxes must be punished by paying more taxes. Making claims that 95 percent of Americans will receive tax breaks is bogus. The middle-class earns everything above $50,000 per year. $250,000 to $500,000 is considered middle-class. Those earners were warned during 2008 they would receive tax hikes, not tax
breaks. Obama declared those earning under $50,000 would receive tax breaks. The majority of that group is welfare. They do not pay taxes, utilities, healthcare, education; receive food stamps, most live free in subsidized housing, therefore tax breaks, or as Obama calls it, “rebate checks,” is extra welfare compensation.
Claiming stimulus packages will “ignite spending by businesses and consumers alike, and take steps to strengthen our country for years to come” is false. The stimulus raises taxes on the very people doing the spending. Take their money away and businesses have zero clients. Welfare recipients spend every dime they rob via the IRS, their spending does not raise the economy since taxpayers continue employing their lazy living.
Punishing CEO’s for a few rotten apples will only cause the rest to dump their stocks for tax-free stocks, remove money from U.S. banks for tax-free off-shore accounts, and outsource to third world nations where productivity is high at a rate of low wages and taxes. With Democrats in power, that will be the only alternative for all of us.
Since Jimmy Carter’s administration, Americans have been slowly outsourcing in order to make profits. Democrat taxes halt U.S. productivity, turning factory towns into ghost towns, making it easy for illegals to take American’s work. But isn’t that the idea? Destroy private companies, as seen since LBJ’s Great Society, for government-run, controlled, and subsidized workers? Under this form of work no one can make more than another, and no American can live the American dream.
Obama himself claims tax-cuts do not work: “there have been misguided criticisms of this plan that echo the failed theories that helped lead us into this crisis, the notion that tax cuts alone will solve all our problems…” Tax-cuts did not cause banks to go under or companies to lay off workers. Handing cheap money to low-income, welfare recipients for home purchases they can not afford caused the “crisis.” Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac still operate, Franklin Rein, Jamie Garelick, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, and Barry himself, who forced banks to give loans to bad lenders, were never punished for wrongdoing.
Voters believe Obama’s “change” manifesto, because he promises free housing, money, education, and fringes to minorities living off taxpayers. He never would have been elected any other way.
Obama’s government is socialism. So far he wants capped salaries on CEO’s—that is liberal lingo for anyone nasty enough to get rich—government control of car manufacturers, instructing what cars to make and telling we the people what we can and cannot drive—in other words, no SUV’s, pick-ups, or lux cars; European bumper cars only. There is the plan to install special meters in cars alerting the government to how much fuel one gasses up the tank with. If too much is purchased, one is fined. If too many miles are driven, one is punished. I believe they have the same system in Cuba and it’s worked fabulously.
There are strategies for special grids installed in homes to tell the government when and how much fuel one uses (“designing a smart electrical grid; and connecting every corner of the country to the information superhighway”). If energy is over the allotted limit, fines are dolled. One has no right to be cool or warm unless Democrats approve. Dems already got away with caps on toilet sizes, water flushed, shower heads and how much water one can bathe with, there is no limit if Dems are not stopped.
The stimulus package is more than one trillion dollars. One trillion ads up to more than the total combined wealth of Microsoft, Wal-Mart, Google, Coca-Cola, and Pepsi Cola. There is 23 billion left. The bill is loaded with pork for Washington to spend on pet projects, not job creation. The “rebuilding [of] aging roads, bridges and levees” will not be built by low-income welfare workers, who should be doing the work, coffee-drinking, hard-hats who count car colors and models will be paid to continue doing what they already don’t do: build.
Obama claims the American people “are patient” about waiting for the stimulus to kick in years from now. It never will. And we’re not that patient. One trillion will bankrupt this nation into socialism. Isn’t that the entire plan? Barry ended his column saying: “We can once again let Washington’s bad habits stand in the way of progress. Or we can pull together and say that in America, our destiny isn’t written for us but by us…” Obama’s “bad habits” are not meant for pulling us together, they are for the creation of a Marxist state. We better pull together and make the constitution and our Founders our destiny and write off Obama.
